Lahore [Pakistan], March 30: Quetta Gladiators earned their first win of the Pakistan Super League season by inflicting a second defeat on Hyderabad Kingsmen, who were earlier beaten by Lahore Qalandars in their opening game. They lost by 40 runs in Lahore as they made a poor attempt at chasing 175. After taking 17 from the first over, Marnus Labuschagne's side managed only 34 from the next eight with only one boundary coming between the end of the second over and the start of the 10th. They were 51-4 after nine overs and finished on 134-8. Australia international Labuschagne made a 21-ball 23, Irfan Khan 33 from 25 balls and Hassan Khan 31 from 19. Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed took 3-23 for Gladiators while Hasan Nawaz hit 53 and opener Shamyl Hussain 54 in their 174-8.
